Matco Egypt recently opened its new R&D lab. Dr. Ahmed A. Mousa (PhD in Polymer Chemistry) will lead the R&D efforts of Matco Chemicals in Egypt, where he is supported by 2 additional chemist and two chemical engineers. The new lab will reinforce the innovative efforts already made by the existing R&D labs in Oss (NL) and Waregem (B). Matco Chemicals sees innovation as the best way to proactively serve its customers with innovative and ecofriendly products.

Matco Chemicals attended at the Textiles Recycling Expo in Brussels on the 4th and 5th of June 2025. We showcased our recycling solutions for Textiles: ReZipp and Integro, suitable for automotive, carpet, artificial grass and textile applications. We had 126 exhibitors with us this year and we managed to attract 3,336 visitors from 67 countries, making it the largest ever meeting focused on textiles recycling.
