MatcoFlame is a new non-hazardous range of flame-retardant compounds and dispersions.

The MatcoFlame range is suitable for upholstery, curtains, tents, carpets, automotive, and aviation applications. Matco Chemicals can also provide ready-to-use flame retardant compounds or collaborate to develop customized solutions.

• Halogen-free – No chlorine and bromine-based flame retardants are used, ensuring lower smoke toxicity and reduced environmental impact during production, use and disposal.
• Antimony-free – Eliminates the use of antimony trioxide, a commonly used synergist in flame retardants that is under scrutiny for potential health and environmental concerns.
• No labeling required – Classified as non-hazardous under current chemical safety regulations, meaning no hazard pictograms, warnings, or special handling requirements are necessary.
• No Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) – No chemicals on REACH Candidate list of Substances Very High Concern (SVHC)-Ensuring peace of mind for manufacturers and end-users.
• Oeko-Tex® ACP compliant – Meets the stringent chemical requirements of the Oeko-Tex® list of Accepted Chemical Products (ACP) list, supporting safer and more sustainable textile production while facilitating certification processes.
